As the usage of ridesharing companies such as Uber and Lyft continues to increase, so does the requirement to address the alarming matter of sexual assault and violence faced by both drivers and passengers. Whilst these platforms have changed transportation and provided convenience, they have also inadvertently made chances for potential criminals.
